A special feature of our graduate programs is the close collaboration among participating Departments across Colleges along with representatives from major regional companies and institutions. This collaboration includes two specific committees – the Bioinformatics Steering Committee and the Bioinformatics Industrial Advisory Board.

BINF Steering Committee

The BINF Steering Committee consists of two subcommittees. The Program Subcommittee, with expertise in areas ranging from genomics and systems biology to biostatistics and high performance computing, meets periodically to review and discuss all aspects of the program development. The Admissions Subcommittee reviews all applications to the graduate programs and provides recommendations related to admission to these programs. The participating departments at the university have worked together to develop and offer courses for our graduate programs. (Core Courses, Affiliated Faculty, BINF-PSM, BICB-MS, BINF-Cert, and BINF-PhD).
