May 3, 2011–On Friday, May 27, 2011, CBCB will host its first Research Symposium at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute. The goal of the Research Symposium is to provide a venue for bringing together CBCB affiliated faculty and students from over ten departments across four colleges to foster idea exchanges and multidisciplinary research collaborations. The Symposium will feature a keynote, a funding agency roundtable, invited talks and poster presentations. The symposium is being organized in conjunction with the Skate Genome Annotation workshop (Monday-Thursday, May 23-26) to be hosted by our Center and participated by colleagues/students from our partner institutions in NECC(North East Cyberinfrastructure Consortium) across five IDeA states-DE, ME, RI, NH and VT.
