December 13, 2010–This past May, the Center for Bioinformatics & Computational Biology hosted the Skate Genome Annotation Workshop at the University of Delaware. This five day workshop featured participants from five North East states: Delaware, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. This gathering was the first of three bioinformatics workshops planned to annotate the genome of the little skate (/Leucoraja erinacea/). To learn more about how these ARRA funds are having such a positive impact on this research, we’ve provided a link to the article related to project from the Fall 2010 issue of NCRR Reporter.
