Our team of expert bioinformaticians, data scientists, and BioIT specialists are here to help investigators design experiments, analyze omics datasets, provide data modeling, and more.
The Bioinformatics Data Science Core’s Mission is to provide the expertise, training, & computational infrastructure support necessary to empower biomedical and life science researchers to pursue bioinformatics and data science-enabled research.
We are based in the Delaware Biotechnology Institute (DBI) and leverage the combined infrastructure of DBI, Delaware Data Science Institute, and the Protein Information Resource. As a Delaware INBRE supported Shared Resource Center, we support life science research at UD, as well as our partner institutions throughout the state.
We operate under both collaborative and fee-for-service models, and are happy to work with investigators to find a solution that fits their needs and budget. Contact the Core (help@bioinformatics.udel.edu) for assistance planning your research or analyzing your current data.
The University of Delaware Bioinformatics Data Science Core Facility (RRID:SCR_017696) is generously supported by Delaware INBRE (NIH P20GM103446), NIH Shared Instrumentation Grant (NIH S10OD028725), the Delaware Biotechnology Institute, and the State of Delaware.
Please acknowledge this contribution in any publications supported by Core resources.
