July 19, 2017 – Jennifer Biddle, Adam Marsh and Thomas Hanson, all CBCB Affiliated Faculty and faculty members College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, secure a prestigious $1 million Keck Foundation grant to peer deep into the lives of microbes to find out how their genes get toggled off or on.
June 26, 2017 – Read how Sean Polson, director of the bioinformatics core in the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology and associate professor in the departments of Computer and Information Sciences and CBCB Affliliated Faculty, Randy Wisser and Keith Hopper, use a technique called genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS), to find molecular markers that identified possible lima bean disease resistance.
