Biography

Susan Phipps began her career at the University of Delaware in 1991 in the Director’s Office of the Morris Library. Subsequent opportunities in the Dean’s office in the College of Arts & Sciences, the Provost’s Office, the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, and with Recruitment & Employment in Human Resources have provided continued opportunities for growth and advancement. Over the years she has served as a SSAC representative, HR liaison, Wellness representative, United Way volunteer, and a member of several search committees.

Currently Susan Phipps provides support for Dr. Cathy Wu and her research faculty and staff in the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, bringing with her the skills she has learned through her career at the University of Delaware and taking the opportunity in this new position to learn about grants management.
